If you’ve generated optimized media or proxies, it defaults to whatever you’d selected at the time of generating those. Since those aren’t RAW, there’s nothing that’s going to be changing. I still can’t explain why both on DaVinci 16 and 17b9, which are on separate computers, I was having the exact same issue. If I figured out what caused it, I will update again. Yea you’re right. I tried unselecting the GPU and it is still greyed out, leading Davinci to say that I need to select at least 1 GPU before closing preferences. I am on the free version.
