C4000xg blinking blue light

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit) The blue light on the front of this workstation while in sleep mode is very bright and very blinky. I'm worried it's keeping my dog from enjoying a good night's sleep so have resorted to turning the machine off. I enabled / disabled "Unique Sleep State Blink Rates" in the bios but that doesn't fix.
