You can turn DLSS to off, (It renders the game at a lower resolution in order to try and keep framerate higher, when the framerate dips. The issue is, the framerate dips every time to load a different section of the map, so the resolution tanks. I personally play with DLSS off, DLAA on at 1080p.Steamdeck is just a regular computer with a touchscreen and controller instead of mouse and keyboard. The ability to play Non-Steam games with Proton from within Steam was a pretty big deal a few months ago, and reported on pretty well, even with video.. The reason someone might still suggest Lutris for non-steam games would be the custom install scripts that some games need to help them run (something Proton lacks), this is very useful for things like Overwatch, WoW, etc.Many fitgirl releases work for me in Lutris with wine tricks but the easiest method of installing is via windows pc and then copying the files into a prefix folder on the steam deck. I've had very little issues with installing anything from dodi or fitgirl using just steam adding it as a non-steam game. They will be in your compdata folder, it took me a while to find mine. My guess is some games won't have a recognizeable app ID so find the one that doesn't have a match. Then you have to dig into the folder. It should be very similar to how it is saved in your pc. KrisTitz • 1 mo. ago.
